According to me, this was a very emotional book. I cannot imagine losing my grandmother, who is essentially the only person in the world who truly loves you. The illustrations perfectly capture the setting in the text. However, it would be even bad for a child, who does not understand the concept of death and will keep thinking where his or her grandmother has gone to. I also respect the way Nina goes with her grandmother’s death. Definitely a superb book
