Mandatory Personal data collected by WB includes email address of child’s parent, date of birth of child and mobile number of parent for purposes of verification. WB uses personal data for purposes of creating WBL’s contents and to keep parents informed. This information is used by WB for purposes of advising age specific recommendations and is strictly not shared with any other party. Specific consent is obtained by the parent for children below 13 years of age.

We do not mandate child’s participation in any online activity on the child providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for that activity. During the registration process, we receive and store the following information namely (i) parent’s email address, (ii) child’s date of birth, (iii) a password for the parental child account, as well as any other information necessary for us to provide our services.
We ask for credit card information for verification purposes only and do not store this information on our servers. In addition, if a parent elects to subscribe to any paid features of our service, we may collect additional billing information such as a mailing address.
WB does not collect any personal information from children other than the information set out above. However, as part of the services rendered by us, we allow child accounts to upload certain content to the site, including photos, videos, and comments. We take measures to prevent children from communicating personal information through these features, but we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of these measures. If you use these features to disclose personally identifiable information, you should be aware that such information could be read, collected, or used by other users and/or third parties. You agree not to provide any personally identifiable information through these features, and we are not responsible for any personally identifiable information that you provide using these features.
You have an option to not provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to create an account or take advantage of many of the WB’s special features. The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes as obtaining parental consent as set forth above, providing parents with notice of our privacy practices, answering questions, improving the content of the WB, responding to your requests for certain information, products and services, attribution for content you submit, customizing the advertising and content you see, allowing you to communicate with other users, and communicating with you about WB’s products and services, including specials and new features.

Your privacy is very important to us. We follow systematic and stringent procedures to protect the security of the information / data stored on the Portal. The information that you have shared on the Portal is stored in secure server with encryption and can be accessed only for official purposes. Any of our employees who violate our privacy and/or security policies related to customer’s data is subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination and civil and/or criminal prosecution.

We at WB are aware that our users are children of all age groups and hence we have designed processes and systems keeping them in mind. 1. Registration
On signing up on the Portal, you are required to provide us with certain basic mandatory information inter-alia including your e-mail id, mobile number (of the individual or the parent as the case may be), name, date of birth (of the minor user) and a password. The Portal may, also in certain events require details on the name of the school, city, state, country, etc. Once the registration process is completed, the said e-mail id and password can be used to access your account every time you visit the Portal. The user will be able to choose a user name (nickname) upon registration. Parents/guardians guiding the minor users are required to instruct the children not to share their other personal information on the platform in the course of providing feedbacks or having healthy interactions on the platform or otherwise.
2. Information we collect and that you provide:
We collect information that is either anonymous or personally identifiable. The anonymous information includes the pages you view on our site, the search terms you enter into our search utility, your IP address and the operating system, browser software and internet service provider you use, in order to improve security, analyze trends and administer the site.
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your experience of the Portal. Here are the types of information we gather.
Information You Give Us:
We receive and store any information you enter on the Portal or give us in any other way, including but not limited to name, gender, email id, mobile number, billing and shipping addresses, physical characteristics etc. You can choose not to provide certain information, but in such event, you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. In addition to the above, the Portal may also request the User to provide mobile numbers/email ids of their friends to invite them to subscribe to the Portal. This information shared by the User will only be used for the said purpose.
Automatic Information:
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many websites and portals, we use "cookies", and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses WB or advertisements and other content served by or on behalf of WB on other websites.
E-mail Communications:
To help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from WB if your computer supports such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers. SMS Communications:
Subject to your confirmation, we may use your registered mobile number on the Portal to send transaction related SMS to you. On your confirmation, we may send you any transaction related SMS irrespective of having DND services activated on your mobile.
Information from Other Sources:
We might also receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.
Payment Information:
We are not taking Credit/Debit card or Net banking details on our Website or the Portal. On clicking the option Pay Now, you will be redirected to either Secure Payment Gateway or Bank Internet Banking website for completing the payment transaction. You will then be required to provide your relevant card details or net banking details on the page to complete the transaction.
It is to be noted that we will not be storing any Bank related information on our records and we any of our staffs will not hold or be exposed to this information. In addition to the above, any sharing of information including sensitive personal information of the user will be shared by WB to a third party only with the user's prior written permission.
3. Compliances with GDPR Regulations:
We at WB ensure adherence to GDPR principles namely (i) Lawful Process, (ii) Legal Purposes, (iii) Limited Use, (iv) Assurance of Accuracy, (v) Limited Duration and (vi) Secure Processing, relating to the collection, use, transfer and deletion of personal data. We have a “Data Processing Policy” to process and secure Personal Data. On regular basis we document compliance of the policy.

We have in place appropriate technical and security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction or damage to your information. When we collect data through the Portal, we collect your personal details on a secured server. The payment details are entered on the Payment Gateway’s or Bank’s page on a secured SSL. The data is transferred between bank and gateways in an encrypted manner.
Though we are unable to guarantee 100% security, this makes it hard for a hacker to decrypt your details. You are strongly recommended not to send full credit or debit card details in unencrypted electronic communications with us. In other words, except on the Payment Gateways page of your respective bank, you are requested not to submit otherwise / send to the website/ e-mail ids provided therein or to any other ids, your debit or credit card or any other banking details.
