EVERYONE has their own story of Gandhi — and in this book, which came out of a set of four large paintings, an artist of the Warli tradition, an animation filmmaker and a storyteller come together in a unique collaboration to create a very visual Gandhi story. While the artist was inspired to paint Gandhi's life simply because “he was like us”, the curating of the visuals was inspired by the delightful details in the paintings, picked and highlighted with care.

THIS IS AN AMAZING BOOK .... I REALLY ENJOYED READING IT AND LOVE TO READ IT AGAIN AND AGAIN .. I THINK WHO LOVER HISTORY AND KNOW MORE ABOUT FREEDOM FIGHTER WOULD LOVE TO READ IT .. his story is about Gandhi ji , that person that after listening to his name we think of words like freedom and peace. This story covers the whole life of Gandhi ji from his childhood to his adulthood. I learnt a lot about him while reading this book rather than his effort to make India a free country,I learnt how he faced problem in other countries because he didn’t have friends there and many more things. I suggest this book to everyone who wants to know more about Bapu, specifically children as this book is easy to understand. Overall it’s a grandiose book and I personally love it

It was about a story of Mahatma Gandhi’s life.it told how a boy expressed it in a type of interview without meeting the person and it told also like he was a freedom fighter and die for his country’s freedom too.and I think they should have also added about his family and his parents and dreams

This is a based on Mahatma Gandhi also known as Bapu or Father of the Nation. Why did he want to free India? What was his objective? Who all helped him?Everything about Bapu! The book seems to be very honest account of an enriching and very self reflecting conversation. The part where Gandhiji was discriminated against in South Africa reminded me of similar instances from Nelson Mandela's Autobiography- 'Long Walk to Freedom'. What I love the most about this book is how nicely the pictures are drawn. The author has made it in an amazingly easy way by making the whole story in 'Question/Answer' format. When I was reading it, it looked like everything was happening in front of me. Though sometimes it got hard to recognise when Bapu is speaking and when is the Narrator speaking. Overall it was a great story In the starting there was little feel that this book is for small children, but no it was only till I turned the next page. This is book is for everyone, for those who don't like auto

This is a book about gandhiji his story is being tell by a boy to another boy while doing warli art in this book it is also said how gandhiji made our country free from British rule. This book is telling us a a lot about non violence and how unfairly India was treated. After reading this I remembered all the things that my grandfather told me about the effort for the freedom and the fearless people. The boy in the story was my favorite character as he knew everything about bapu. My favourite part was when in-between bapu would answer himself. There was no part I didn't like in the story not even a single one. This story will be perfect for ages 8 to 14. This book is very fun history not the boring one. I very curios to see how did others like this book. I would like to to give it 5 on 5 stars.

My Gandhi Story Book review This book is about a person who outlines Gandhi Ji’s life. It tells all the exciting and inspiring adventures of Bapu. My favorite character in this story was Gandhi Ji. My favorite part was when Bapu started making his clothes with the charkha. But I didn't like it when he has kicked off a train just because of his skin color. I think people of ages 7-9 would like this book since they’re getting to know more about Gandhi Ji. Thank you Shaurya Chauhan Class-5B Roll No-36
