My name is Hamza Talib and today I'm going to perform a monologue on Tarzan by Bijal Shah. "My hands are killing me! Look at them! Blisters, cuts, and open sores! It's all because of this swinging from one tree to another. I'm not a monkey. I'm a man. I need a good pair of shoes. Or a pair of gloves! Not to forget a pair of pants! Do you know how uncomfortable this loin cloth gets? i feel like I'm wearing a diaper. Have the jungle see my backside and that isn't cool. I am expected to live in the trees, swing from the trees and eat from the trees. I just can't take it anymore. All this outdoor living isn't fun. I just have to eat fruits and vegetables, berries and nuts, day in and day out. I could do with some burgers and fries, pizzas and macaroni! Haven't I been out here long enough? I need to get out of here, or someone needs to change this place. Transform this tree house into a real home. Have a bed to sleep on, and a toilet will give me some privacy rather than having to do it - you know what I mean - in the open. Maybe I could even get a makeover. Have my hair washed and trimmed, shaved, manicure, pedicure and new clothes. Just because I live with animals doesn't mean I have to look like an animal. Wait...what was that. Oh!
