Oh, what a modern day wonder
AI driven life could be
It was all going on well
But then came ChatGPT
To start with, it was meant
For things, both big and small
From evaporation to distillation
To the dam with the waterfall
It helped me find the answers
Who came first Lodhi or Babur
And drafted me an essay
About the famous Pearl Harbor
It helped me solve equations
And gave me subtle hints
And drafted sample papers
From the many blue prints
I achieved some extra grades
Teacher said my assignments were a masterpiece
While mine was stamped “original”
The others read,”No ChatGPT, please”
I stood tall amidst the circus
But nothing worried me as much
When something so bizarre had happened
I realized we had been trapped in AI’s clutch
A friend’s grandfather had passed
To comfort her in that moment fleeting
I tried to lend an ear
To hear how her heart was beating
She told me she was coping
And I needn’t worry as much
I assumed she spoke to her family
She exclaimed, “No, nothing as such!”
She looked at me and answered
I didn’t know how to feel or be
So for comfort, I ventured ahead
And asked my favourite ChatGPT
The thunder roared in my ears
The lightning struck my head
I almost collapsed on the ground below
To hear what she just said
Are we really going this far
Is this how future’s going to be
Will our feelings and emotions
Be tailored by ChatGPT
Let us not forget we’re humans
The greatest of God‘s creation
Let our hearts be the one
That gave praise, condemn or appreciation
Let us not become slaves
Of AI that we created
The beauty of the fertile human mind
Should never be carbon dated
What was meant to be a helper
Should be used only as much
An aid, a tool, a guide
An advancement of Google search
While we continue to create technology
That drives the world with a soft touch
Let’s remember, we are fine humans
Let’s embrace the “human” in human touch
